Sydney Wanderlusts

A collection of vacation montages, also known as, wanderlusts.

Ever since I was a kid, my father would bring around his camera and film our family vacations. When we get home, he would sit at his computer for days editing the perfect video montage for us to enjoy and reminisce on the trip. He would summarise hours worth of footage into a half an hour. He has never failed to blow us away with his videos and I grew intrigued by the art. I decided to pick up film and create my own family montages.

This is a collection of vlogs posted on my YouTube channel from my trip to Australia in 2019.

1. Day 1

The first day was mostly filling up our groceries with snacks and shopping. Enjoying places such as Walmart and various clothing outlets for retail therapy.

2. Day 2

We do some site seeing such as the Sidney Opera House and the famous Sydney fish market!

3. Day 3

We took to the skies to see the famous sites such as the "three sisters mountain" and many more. We even visited our relatives living nearby the area.

4. Day 4

We headed down to a ski resort to enjoy some snow! There wasn't much snow in June but it was still an exciting time for my younger cousins who have never even seen snow before.

5. Day 5

We went to the zoo on our last day and got to pet animals like Kangaroos, Deers, Koalas and Wallabies! Caught glimpses of the famous Paddy's market where we bought some clothes and small knick knacks. Afterwards we packed up and headed home :)

I hope you enjoyed the vlogs! It was mostly filmed on my iPhone and Canon Camera, I edited the videos on Adobe Premiere Pro using my mac book air (which was dying on me btw).
